Any holiday is a perfect opportunity to initiate a search campaign. Or any advertising campaign. The benefit is clear: people are looking to celebrate and celebration means different things to different people.

With search campaigns, however, you get to better control the timing of release and the length of run-time and often get to modified your campaign along the way. This is due to the technology that surrounds search and the integrated systems provided by search companies.

July 4th is a huge day in America and the stars and stripes of summer are upon us. It’s not too late to consider a campaign this year and you might even get a little firework of your own.

It’s important to think about obtaining links naturally but what does that mean? It means getting links without having to trade links. Most great stories obtain links naturally so that’s what causes incoming links from other websites.

Trading links becomes problematic in many areas but the three we’ll discuss today include:

Trading links with bad neighborhoods

Running out of places to list the links you’ve traded

The time it takes to convince people to link to your page

If your information is really worth linking to, and some people know about it, it will spread naturally and others will continue to link to your web page.
